GIRL

we found out that the baby is (most likely) a girl.  Ultrasound tech decided it wasn’t that important and only gave us an…it looks like a girl, because I don’t see any boy parts.  Hmmm.  Next appointment we are going to ask Dr. Chelius (or Dr. Chatkupt) if they can give us a definite answer.  In the meantime…we’re banking on PINK now.

She’s kicking, punching and rolling away in mama’s belly!

.breakout.

so my face has been in breakout mode since i’ve gotten pregnant.  what the crap!?!?  i’ve been trying everything, but nothing is working.  apparently, when you’re having a girl, they “steal your beauty”.  we’ll see…we find out next week wednesday.  if it’s not a girl, it better be one good looking boy.

.12 weeks.

12 weeks…right at the end of the first trimester.  i don’t think i’m looking pregnant…just a little like the old college days, before i discovered health and fitness.  :)

.i heart beats.

so i ordered an at-home baby doppler off of e-bay.  same kind that they have at the doc’s office.  dawn and i fumbled around with it for a while and tried it out but couldn’t hear anything.  apparently the doppler wasn’t plugged in all the way.  duhhh!  BUT…with a few seconds of searching, we heard the baby’s heartbeat.  beat away my little baby!
